He is the creator and performer of the characters Barry from Watford on Steve Wright's BBC Radio 2 show and Clinton Baptiste, originally seen in Phoenix Nights. Alex is known as a voice actor in Fireman Sam, Torchwood and more, appearing in films such as Peter’s Friends and the acclaimed Kenneth Branagh adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing.
