Episode 3: Buying Used Cars, Part 2

This episode is part 2 of "Buying Used Cars."  Phil Scott covers more things to consider when buying a used car. Two extra notes to add (not included in this episode):  1.  Make sure you have a reputable mechanic or garage check out the vehicle you want to purchase, if you can. It may cost you an extra $50 to $100 dollars, but if you want an extra layer of security, do it!  2.  Also, purchase GAP insurance when you are financing a vehicle - if your vehicle is totaled before you pay it off, the GAP insurance will cover the value that you owe on the vehicle ABOVE the KBB value, so you are not still owing money on a car that is a total loss and not yours anymore!  Protect yourself!!
