Episode 3: Potipher's Slavery Joseph's Testing
from A Heart 2 Serve Hosted by Torie McLaughlin
These days we are looking very closely at our history and in many ways, we are seeing how far we still have yet to go, but we can all agree that the days of being in continuous harsh bondage have come to an end. Joseph experienced slavery, and his experience was much like ours. In this episode, we will see the correlation between the story of Joseph in scripture and the experience of Slavery/affliction in our experience here in America. What was God's purpose for causing Joseph to experience slavery? Is there a reason why we experienced slavery in our time here in the U.S.? What other thematic connections does scripture give us in the slavery of Joseph and does it connect with our day? You will be amazed to see who YHVH raised up in our day to further bring the connection of how Joseph's story reveals our story.
