We’ll be looking at it through three lenses: first, how perfectionism shows up for just about everyone when we tie our worth to our performance; second, how it runs even deeper for trauma survivors, where perfection sometimes became a way to stay safe or avoid harm; and third, how even in our Christian walk, perfectionism can quietly slip in and make us feel like we have to earn God’s love — when the truth is, His love has never depended on our performance. Each of these journeys is different, but if you see yourself in any of them, know this: you are already loved, already enough, and you are not alone in this fight.
