We call them character building days . We encourage you to be more present(wife girlfriend kids etc) but also don’t let people or situations gain control over your life (boss yells at you, girlfriend, just because you grew up poor, etc) Also always live a live of service and you will be reward and paid ten fold.  At times you may not be able to give money but you can always give time and you can always give joy...don’t let your upbringing or your circumstances define you.
