Episode 3: The Masked Season

from Chicks With Sticks · host Chicks with Sticks Podcast

Welcome to Chicks With Sticks! We are exactly what our name explains: two chicks with sticks, lacrosse sticks that is. We are here to talk about women’s lacrosse, the sport that brought us together and we believe deserves more recognition. Join our comedic convos about our love for the game, electric players, memorable games, and general lacrosse news. Feel free to send us any of your own stories at [email protected] and check us out on Instagram @chickswithstickspodcast too! Enjoy :)  Linktree: https://linktr.ee/chickswithstickspodcast (*Sidenote: we claim no rights over the background music in the intro/outro to this podcast. You may recognize the music, it’s Trophies by Young Money and Drake. The commentary over the top of it has been borrowed from a variety of lacrosse games that were televised.)  Episode 3: The Masked Season  Seasons cut short, constant testing, bubbles, quarantine, and somehow managing to play throughout it all to come out better on the other side. So let’s crack it open, how did the pandemic affect us and the game? How different is it for different levels? Considering we wouldn’t have met if it weren’t for COVID-19, we have to talk about it. It was a rollercoaster but this podcast wouldn’t be here without it! Still trying our best to minimize technical difficulties with the zoom call :).
