from With Self Respect Comes Self Love · host Goddess Asha Mariama

In this episode, I’m going to be discussing how to go about respecting yourself through accepting yourself flaws, imperfections, disabilities, illnesses, diseases, and the mistakes that you made in your past. It is a time for people to start getting away from society standards when it comes to anything concerning people. A lot of people are miserable because of society standards. And trying to live up to people’s expectations, that are no better than you. you’re trying to get people to like you that never liked you in the first place. Staying in relationships with people that are never gonna change. Trying to make somebody be something that they’re not going to be. And the only way that things are gonna get better is if you change, grow, evolve, elevate, learn, and mature into a new version of yourself. And by learning to accept the negative things about yourself, you can turn them into strengths, and it’ll make you a stronger and better person. The real way that you actually love and respect yourself is when you stop hiding your flaws and imperfections, disabilities, and the mistakes you made in your past and own it. There’s nothing wrong with not being perfect. You just need to be you. It feels so good when you’re able to be and show who you are. So I hope this podcast episode gives you a lot of inspiration.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/with-self-respect-comes-self-love--5161847/support.
