What I find alarming is peoples inability to have empathy and unwillingness to compromise. To me one of the many pillars in a healthy relationship is compromise. You can't have a relationship without it, that goes for friendships as well. Throughout history there have been women and men who weren’t the typical wife or husband or the typical stay at home mom but they were instrumental for the development of the world we have today. When you allow your partner to be themselves without restrictions you get something the world has yet to see.
