Episode 30: Interview with Gary Oliver CEO/board member

In this episode, we interview Gary Oliver who is an experienced CEO/board member with deep experience across venture-backed, mid-size and large global technology companies. We talk to Gary regarding the trends of AI (Artificial Intelligence) and the impact it will have on business now and in the future. Gary's focus has been to harness the power of data for disruptive competitive advantage. Gary uses his experience to help CEOs and boards of non-profit organizations scale up their impact. He was the Chairman and CEO at Razorthink. He has 30 years of experience in the technology industry, most recently as CEO of Blazent, where he took the company from pre-revenue to become the leader in IT data intelligence with cumulative revenues exceeding $100M. Prior to Blazent, Gary led the IT Service Management business unit at Remedy leading to a $1B acquisition by Peregrine where he then served as GM of the Infrastructure Management business. Prior to Remedy, Gary was SVP at Visa responsible for the company's internal technology strategy and initiatives. Earlier in his career, Gary held numerous sales, marketing and executive roles at IBM, including responsibility for IBM's multi-billion-dollar Data Management SW revenue. Gary is a graduate of UCLA and serves in multiple board and advisory roles.
