Episode 30 Interview with Liliana (MS WARRIOR)

Liliana is an MSer from Columbia and has been in the USA since she was 12 years old. Liliana has had medical issues her entire life including infections and other auto immune issues. Liliana battled symptoms her entire life and was even diagnosed with juvenile arthritis. Liliana ran from her symptoms blaming her issues on something else until she went through menopause and then had Covid five times. Liliana explains how she advocated for herself in order to get her diagnosis of PPMS in 2023. Liliana and I talk about a number of topics like mental health, exercise, DMT's as well as our relationships and friends dealing with MS. We talk about how we fight and what motivates us to keep going with this disease. Liliana talks about tricks she has to fight this disease like putting salt under her tongue for energy. Liliana has such a passion to help people battling MS she started a FaceBook group called Multiple Sclerosis Rebels (MSR) that has gained 7,900 members in 11 months that is the best MS FaceBook page I have seen out there. She is so up front with everyone on that page and wants to promote positivity while battling this tough disease. I literally could have talked to Liliana for hours she is just so amazing with her journey and how she just stays so positive.
