No, it's muted. Oh, that's why. Damn. No wonder.

Okay, there we go. I didn't always mute it. It was blinking. Yeah.

What the fuck does it automatically go on mute? No. I think my mute buttons are pretty light, I guess, or maybe it's sensitive. I don't know.

Well, because I did this thing. I put my hand in front of the light to see it since the light's facing the light from me. Yeah. And it wasn't blinking.

Yeah. I think you might just touch it like this. Is it blinking? No.

It's on. Okay. Now that makes sense. Welcome back to Talking Nonsense.

I'm your host Kyle and I'm here with Christopher. And finally, after two episodes, it's just us now. Yeah. Tired of having guests.

It says the night before. No, next week. Oh, it's next week. Oh, okay.

Thanks for having a guest. Yeah. I'm excited for that. Yeah, me too.

I was just kidding though. I don't like it because of how our setup is. Like, I'm going to be a natural setup where we could have other people on. But like, right now when we make things, all right, it's too tight.

We need to get an actual studio like H3H3. Yeah. Orgs. Yeah.

We need actual stuff. I'm really worried about what you guys want to do. Who even listens anymore, honestly? My supervisor still does.

Yeah. My friend doesn't ever listen anymore. No, just kidding. She does.

She just hasn't listened to it in a while because she sucked on into the podcast. Wow. Is it one of those murder ones? Early.

I think so. She likes those. Maybe we need to turn our podcast into a murder podcast. So, what, did they talk about?

I don't think they talked about it. No. I don't think they talked about this podcast. No.

It was even a murder one. Have you heard about the Doctor of Death? No. No, I've heard of Doctor Death.

It's about this like, uh, surgeon who basically, like, all his patients. He died. No, they didn't die. But basically they went in to the surgeon and came out worse.

Oh, I heard about this guy. I heard about this. And like he was so like in denial of like his procedures and everything because he's gone sued. We're not sued.

But like his patients have been like, what the fuck? Yeah. He was like, no, you're good. Yeah.

He was just so confident, right? Yeah. He was just so incompetent of how bad he was. Yeah.

It's sad. It's really sad to hear like those stories. I've listened to that. She recommended me that one.

Yeah. I know my co-workers also listen to like the whole like murder mysteries or like, these really like fucked up murders and stuff. And it's just, I mean, I should tell the depressing, like I want to listen to that. Yeah.

Like I know it's interesting. And I'm not like knocking. No, you gotta be in a mood, honestly. Because I'm the same.

I can't. Kind of mood you need to pee it. No, it's like, you just gotta be like, No, I get, I get what you're saying. I was like, do you need to be in a murderous mood?

Yeah, or something. I don't know. Because I can't honestly, I can't listen to that shit either because of like how I'm not depressing, but just like, it's so fucked up and twisted. Yeah.

I want to hear that. Yeah. Yeah. You know what?

I mean, I want to say something cool or funny. Yeah, I feel like there are times where I was like, okay, I want something interesting. Now something that will hook me and like, oh, shit, what's next? If you want something funny, there's a hard podcast.

Yeah, I was actually just gonna do that so much. Oh, man. Oh, shit. Sorry.

Sorry. But yeah, no, my core is a bunch of that, like murder mystery stuff. And I mean, I don't know. It's not your cup of tea.

No, I, I've been, there was one podcast I actually did listen to you like back in college is called Welcome to Night Vale. And I honestly don't know what it's about. But like, I remember it being really interesting. Yeah, I remember it being really interesting because I think it's set in like a fictional universe in which this guy like hosts like a radio in that fictional universe and his like voice is really sure you weren't listening to like an audiobook?

No, it was a podcast. So what, he just made up a story? Yeah, I think there's like narratives that he was pulling from. I can't really remember the exact details.

But the reason why I was so hooked was like, just you know how some people have a good like radio voice or a podcast, podcast voice? This was really good. Yeah. Arsek.

I mean, speaker yourself. Yeah, no, our voices are terrible. They're okay. Yeah.

Thanks. Mine's okay. Yours is. I mean, I'll take it as a compliment.

I mean, if you listen to our podcast, I could you all have the time. Damn. No. I wonder what everyone's like.

What are you talking about? I don't hear your podcast. Yeah, what are you? What do you use this?

I never hear you. Yeah, that's what they tell me. I'm like, I'm just kind of there. Yeah.

What do you mean? I talk all the time. Like, can I all hear you? Because Kyle, I don't hear you at all.

Really? Maybe more bikes broken. No, but speaking of which, I should often know how that transitions into this, but this is our 30th episode. Wow.

I know. Season three, maybe not. What? From talking nonsense to just ranting?

To now, no name. Welcome to no name. Where we don't talk about it. We're just ranting.

Never just ranting it. No, no. Now it's, uh, it's the rift. Our podcast name is the rift.

The rift? Oh, yeah. We're just ranting. What was that other one?

You were, that was it. Hold on. Wait a minute. Was the, the one you were talking about?

Like, the one you were telling about? Like, I had a really good name. No, it was, let me explain. Oh, yeah.

Let me explain. Yeah. Now we're let me explain. So let me explain real quick.

Sticking down. Copy. Well, it's no one's name right now. Well, I don't know.

I heard it on a podcast. They weren't even naming their podcast. They're just talking about something like they're trying to tell the other person thing and then the other guy cutting them off. He's like, wait, wait, let me explain.

And the other person was like, let me explain. That's a good podcast name. Like, oh, yeah, that is a good podcast name. We can do a segment or something like on our, so you were supposed to do a segment last episode, but we never did it.

Yeah. I was just going to do it. I thought I was going to be a good segment, but then when I realized I had to do it in front of people, I was like, we're not doing it in front of our guests. I don't want to do it in front of that specific guest because they probably would have judged me.

You think so? Yeah. I'd probably be like, the fuck is this shit? What are we?

What am I doing? Yeah. Like, why am I here? Why am I on this show?

No, but I don't know. We think of some kind of segment. I want to throw a segment into our podcast. So go.

Yeah. Comment below. Let's know. Well, I guess now, since it is just us two, we could probably let our listeners know what it was going to be.

Maybe even do it. I don't know. We'll see. I mean, if you want, you can do, I'm.

Yeah, I know I was the one that meme we did, huh? Yeah. But basically what we wanted to do was, nah. I'm only at that sign up for our Patreon.

Just kidding. We don't have a Patreon yet. I don't know how that works. Do you know how that works?

Sounds like a lot of work though. No, the card game explained kids. Yeah. How about starting because Kickstarter?

Yeah. Like, put their stuff on Kickstarter. They have another Kickstarter for another game that they're making called Throw Throw Burrito. It's like, it's a card game mixed with dodgeball.

So like, basically, they have like these plush burritos that you lay out in the middle of the table and then like you play cards and you like, each card does a certain thing. And there's these cards that like enact a burrito brawl or something like that. So like, you can either throw it down and it could be like free for all. So everyone has to like, try to grab the burrito and like throw it at people or like, dole.

Like, you pick someone you want to dole with and then like, you each have to like have one burrito and whoever hits the other person is out. Actually, it was pretty fun. I just saw it at work. Well, my coworker was showing it.

That sounds interesting. Yeah. I was like, huh, it seems like it'd be like a really fun game, but it'd get way too intense. Yeah.

People get too serious and competitive a bit. What are you? Yeah. Speaking of competitiveness, my friend says I'm way too competitive when I play my video games.

I would say an Overwatch. Yeah. Yeah. She takes the take things way too seriously.

But then again, you are playing comp though. That's what I'm saying. I need to take it seriously. Yeah.

Like, unlike me, I'm pretty competitive and Overwatch and I'm not even playing comp. Yeah. When you play comp, meaning competitive, it's like a ranking system. Yeah.

But anyways, when you play, we're just playing regularly, like just for fun. I get tilted so easily. Way way too easily. It's scary sometimes.

I'm not even there. Yeah. You're right. You're a house on your computer, but I could hear you because we're talking through Discord and I know I've been in it.

I don't know what it is about Overwatch. You and paladins, I get super tilted. Well, yeah. And I don't know if you wanted to talk about this, but when we play just in general, I think any kind of game like that what I'm playing.

Yeah. Yeah. I really, I don't know what it is. Sometimes like, you also really like, like sometimes I normally kind of keep my shit together.

Yeah, but that day, that day, someone snapped me and I don't know what it was. So we're playing. No, let's not talk about it. What I want to talk about.

I want people to know I have anger issues. Well, now they know. You clearly said you do it. That's all they need to know.

It's a good story though. It's a good story for me. It's a good story for you. It's an album for me.

Sorry guys. Get mad at him, not me. Son of a patron. I was actually thinking about making one.

Yeah. Yeah. But I didn't know what to say. Like someone's assuming it's like you set your own prices and for each price, like, or for each of us.

First of all, also with a Patreon, we have to have something to give them. Yeah. We're gonna give our listeners advice for a dollar. What else though?

I mean, like, we can't. That's it. That's it. Okay.

No, I don't know. How's it work? It works. All right.

Works good. Sort of. It's just, you know, work is work. I feel it.

Yeah. That's it. Yeah. Yeah.

I was actually thinking about a, I need to finish a, an application for my second job that I'm applying for. You're applying for a second job? Yeah. Just something on the weekends.

Oh, we're at, we're at, if you don't mind me on. Yeah. Either you're like, Best Buy or like Target. Oh, really?

Yeah. Just because like, you know, pick up some extra hours, whatever. So like a little supplemental income. It wasn't even thinking about door dashing.

Really? Yeah. Just try it out. I mean, you hardly use your car.

So yeah. Yeah. And you could do it for sure. Yeah.

Just something in me. See, I don't know if like, with like those like rideshare services or no rideshare or like door dash specifically. Like I just want to do it in Latherup. I don't know if it's going to show me orders like, like in a certain proximity, you know, I mean, like I don't know how that works.

Sure. Wherever your location is at, it's only going to show you, man, because it picks for those who use door dash or what any kind of like Uber service it shows, like if they're calling the service, it's going to call whatever's closest to their location. So if you're in Latherup, like you specifically, then it's only going to find you people who are finding people in Latherup. Okay.

Yeah. If you go to like San Francisco, then you may get everybody that's in San Francisco. Yeah. Yeah.

Some like people who do that stuff like Uber and whatnot. They'll go to the city because that's where it's mostly needed. And then that's where they make the most money. So if you were thinking of doing something like that, I was just going to say like, maybe you don't want to do it in Latherup because I don't know how many people in Lather would you use in the board?

Like door dash. Yeah. You probably want to get like one or two. Yeah.

And then that's probably one of the two. I'd either go to like a like a sick, like a second or somewhere in the Bay Area. Like Elk Road maybe or something. Yeah.

So like fully get your money's worth. Yeah. But I mean, I thought about that too. But then at the same time, I'm just like, one, there was like, it's such a process.

I was thinking about doing Uber and it's like such a process to like do Uber because you have to one, you have to have a good car like an actual good car. Like the idea, yeah. They need a record of like your car and everything. Okay, well, fuck, this is when I like had my shitty, so you know, Cameron car.

I have my dad's mom's in now, which is a pretty good car. So like, okay, I can't do it with that with my camera and so like that. And then like, same thing. I was thinking like, well, I live in the middle of nowhere, technically.

Yeah. I'm not going to find any rides out here. I'm out to drive all the way out to somewhere. Yeah.

And then like, that's gas on top of gas. Yeah. Yeah. I'm just like, I don't know.

It's not worth it. Yeah. So I was like, yeah, fuck it. Yeah.

Yeah. Definitely like those rides, services and stuff. I feel like it's more beneficial if you're like already living in a populated area. Yeah.

I mean, I feel like you could do it here in Stockton, maybe. Or like, yeah, maybe like in the heart of Stockton. Yeah. Even then I went on to Stockton's ghetto, bro.

Yeah. So I had to go pick up my parents at Sherwood Mall. And I was coming straight from later up. So I just like, oh, turn on the GPS because I normally don't go that mall.

I only go to Weber's town. Even though it's like nearby, it's like whatever. Yeah. So like, the way it was, my GPS was taking me was like, there was just like traffic, like in certain spots.

I was like, I kind of, I guess took the back roads. And I was like, yeah, I can see why people say Stockton's like ghetto now. Yeah. Well, no, it's always been ghetto.

Stockton's always been like a scary place. Oh, I go. Yeah. Yeah.

It's like, it's funny too, because I think Stockton, at least I've only seen it when you're coming from Sacramento, which is north of Stockton, you're coming from Sacramento and going towards Stockton. There's a sign right before you hit Stockton that says welcome to Stockton. And right below that sign, it says emergency 911. I can tell people like, hey, what was talking about the way?

Oh, 911 came under that. It's like warning. It's like, um, you know, just in case, because we're pretty scary. And it's like the only place that I've ever seen it.

Like, if I go to like any other town that has a call to get, like, there's no right below it. By the way, emergency 911. There's a fall upside. You sure you want to be here?

I know right now. I have to walk in Stockton. Turn back now. What are you doing?

The last chance. Yeah. You're God, why? And I told, I told my old coworkers from San Francisco because they asked me one time, like, oh, where are you from?

Like, I'm from Stockton. And even they know they're like, you're from Stockton. Isn't that place like hell, I get on shit? Like, dang, you're an art bro.

Yeah, I was like, well, I mean, it's not, it's really not that bad. Yeah. And especially the part that I'm living at, I'm like at the edge of Stockton. Yeah, like all you're in a cozy little spot.

So I was telling him like, no, it's not that bad. And then I showed them, because I took a picture of that sign on the freeway. Yeah, I was using my phone while driving. So let's sue me.

And I showed it to my coworkers. They're like, yeah, it's that bad. They got to warn you. Like, yeah, pretty much, but it's not that bad.

It's not that bad. I mean, we got a lot of our doors every night, but who doesn't? I carry a nine. Just kidding.

We don't carry guns. Speaking of what we need to talk to our one cousin, go to range. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. We got to let him know.

Trying to go, trying to go do that. Yeah. That'd be fun. Have I ever shot a gun for?

No. All right. I mean, be gone. Be be gone.

Yeah. But like, I feel like that doesn't really count. Yeah. Yeah.

I mean, like, I don't think you get the same thrill as shooting like an actual gun. Right. Yeah. Oh, I mean, I guess I'm excited to do it.

But at the same time, it's like, I'm probably going to be at the end of it like, really? Like, why'd I spend this much money just to like, shoot some shit, you know, when I could do it free. Kidding. Kidding.

I had a little sis few more guys. So politically correct. It's just a concho guys. Did you watch the, was it the Oscars?

No, actually did not. No, I didn't watch it. I heard there's a bunch of controversy though. What?

I was so one, it wasn't hosted by anyone. Like, apparently it was the first. Yeah. I heard about that.

Yeah. And then something about, I think Spike Lee got into like a ruckus just because like he didn't win Best Picture or his movie, didn't Yeah, I think Black Clansman. Yeah, Black Clansman didn't win but it was the Green Book with Vigo Mortensen and some other people. Yeah.

That one. Yeah. So like, I guess it was like, he was upset that he didn't win. I guess.

No, I didn't watch. What was that? So there's the Oscars. And then what was that thing right before that?

That means? No, because that's for TV. I thought I was from music. That's the Grammys.

That's the Grammys. Oh, it's Grammys. And these I believe was for TV. Okay.

I'm sure. I'll agree with you on that. No, the other thing where, what's his name, one Best Actor for his performance in Bohemian Rebsity. What was that?

What word show? The Academy Awards? Oh, okay. Yeah.

I think so. Yeah. Yeah. It was that.

Oh, the Oscars and the Academy Awards. The same thing. That's what I'm saying. I don't know.

That's not like what? This is more your wheelhouse too. I know it is. No, it's not because yes, I want to make films.

I don't care about the awards. I just want to make films. It's not. It's not.

I think I don't watch the Oscars. That's the only thing I watched. I think it was the Academy Awards just kind of as I wanted to see who would win Best Actor and Best Picture. Who won Best Picture?

Was it both mean? No, I think it was Black Panther. Yeah. Which I think it also won for the Oscars too.

I think so. Yeah, for not for Best Picture. But I'm pretty sure it won for like Best like editing or like Best soundtrack or something like that. Yeah, it won for something.

I don't know. The soundtrack to that movie is pretty good though. Yeah, it is pretty good. Speaking of what?

Speaking of music, I signed up for YouTube Premium. Why? Sorry. I said that's okay.

It's a little bit cool. So, at first I was gonna sign up for YouTube TV because I thought I would get like YouTube without any music. But I didn't. It was you would still have to prepare that anyway.

And then I was like, let me just try out the I got a month trial for like YouTube Premium without ads and that came with music. So I was like, oh no. So I'm trying that out right now. I tried out Premium once.

I only did it because it had the YouTube Originals. Yeah. And again, another or the same YouTube channel made a YouTube original that I wanted to watch wasn't that good. They've admitted it too.

They didn't like it. But basically, I only got it for that. It was a three month three trial. It was cool using it because when you have YouTube Premium, you could keep playing the video even outside of the app.

Oh yeah. Because the app in the video is still playing. Which is really stupid that you have to pay for that. Why can't it do that already?

For free. At the same time too, it was also really annoying sometimes when it did do that. Because sometimes when I did want to stop watching the video and I closed the app and I'm still playing like, oh fuck, I forgot. That was the only part.

And it's literally only that. I only used it for the Premium show that I watched and only ate up. So I finished it within a day. And then we're not a day because it posted every week.

But it was that and then having the ability to play the videos while we know the apps. And then that's it. Other than that, it was I don't think it's worth it. Because it's like what, 13 bucks a month or something.

16. Oh yeah, 16 now. Yeah. YouTube TV though I like a lot.

Yeah. I'm using that right now. If YouTube TV like bundled like no ads and like YouTube music, I probably would also like kind of. Well, because they want YouTube TV though, it's like totally separate from YouTube.

So it's not like you're on YouTube TV and still able to search like YouTube channels through YouTube TV. YouTube TV is literally just like the mainstream channels like ABC, ABC and all that stuff. Right. So you're literally just watching TV online.

Yeah. That's all it is. So they're going to have ads. But what's really cool with YouTube TV is that they have a lot of movies on there that you could watch like kind of add free like they'll have like a chat for it.

It's a lot of trying to get all the sleep. We need to one side really slowly. It's cool. Yeah.

I had to. I had to. I'm gonna blow everyone away. Did you fire?

Are you ready? No. Sorry. Did I scare you?

I feel like creep it. It's a creeper. Oh gosh. Yeah.

I'll cut that part out. No, I mean, when you fire, I'll cut it out. So no one knows you farted. You farted, by the way.

But yeah, I like YouTube TV a lot. I'm playing Hello, Dragon Angel. Cool. Yeah.

Did you see the new Pokemon? That's coming out for the switch? No. There's a new Pokemon game coming off of the switch.

Is it the stadium thing? No, I was dating on some show with new Pokemon. Oh, yeah. I thought you'd be excited.

No. Oh, clearly. Oh, I'm moving on. Are you a switch?

Yeah. Yeah. I'm playing on getting a switch. I don't know when.

Not anytime soon. I don't think. Well, actually, who knows maybe soon. Yeah.

Because I actually got some refunds, not from tax, from my student loans. Oh, nice. I refinanced my student loan and the new loaner or not the new loaner, but basically they gave me some money back for whatever reason. I came home and then I had like five different, because I had like hell of loans from this one company or whatever.

And I had like five different letters from them. I was just assuming like it was gonna tell me like, oh, this loan hasn't paid off, but like I thought it was gonna be statements like that. Yeah. I opened the first one and it's like inside, you'll find a refund for blah, blah, blah, because whenever I was like, oh, sick, the check, I don't have to say what I'm like, oh, fuck, it's another way.

I'm like, mom, because my mom was actually like, what? I'm like, they're checks. She's like, oh, really? Like, yeah, they paid me back for whatever reason.

She's like, oh, she's like, nice. I'm like, yeah, rich now. But that I'll straighten like back to the bills. But I got that and then actually just got my state refund, went federal.

Yeah. So hoping once I get that and then I get paid next Friday, then maybe depending on, I was not talking about this shit because I was literally just talking to this about my other friend. I was like telling her about my finances. She pointed out, she's like, you know, every time we talk, it's always about your finances.

I was like, okay, I'm sorry, I'm just trying to be an adult, okay? Yeah. I don't stop. That was funny.

Every time I call you, you always have to bring up something about your finances. Like, I'm just trying to tell you that I'm happy that I'm actually making somebody down. Yeah. Sorry.

It's nice. Like, I'm happy. Succeeding financially, you know? Yeah.

So it's cool. I'm exceeding that aspect, but another aspect of life. Not going away. It sucks right now.

Theory of relativity, right? Yeah. I guess. Speaking of aspects of life, how's your love life, bro?

Uh oh. I mean, or lack thereof. Lack thereof for sure. Is anybody?

No. Not on any dating answer, anything? No. Why not?

Just, um, how old are you? You're 25, right? Yeah, 25. Going to be 26.

Yeah. No, no, dating apps. I mean, like, I am talking to someone. Oh, really?

Yeah. Someone from work, someone you met. What? Talk about a man's I was going to keep asking you that question.

So you tell me, I'll tell you off air. Oh, hey, everyone's gonna be so mad with this episode. I'm like, fuck you guys. Just saying.

Yeah. Cool. I finished, uh, well, I had a project that I needed to work on for that photographer that I told you about. Yeah.

And I made, I made a promo video for him, sent it to him and he was like, this is cool. But can you like, change a few things? And I just finished that last night. Nice.

What do you want you to change? He wanted me to add a few more shots. More nudity? No.

He wanted less of that. I had too much. No, like, literally I had not nudity, but like, he basically said, oh, can you throw in some more shots of the actual photographer in there? Oh, yeah.

Yeah. That makes sense. It's a promo video for the photographer. Yeah.

And I showed it to one of my friends and they were like, oh, yeah, the second one's so much better. Like, the first one was good, but the second was better because it's like the first one, I see like, you're promoting the models. But now the second one, you're promoting the photographer. So that was cool.

I finished that last night. Nice. Yeah. It was pretty good.

I'm proud of it. Yeah. You should be proud of it. Yeah.

Yeah. It's kind of what I wanted to talk about on the last episode, but since that one was all about. Yeah. I don't know what to do.

No, I don't know what to do. That was cool. I liked it. Yeah.

Yeah. How do you feel about it? I like it. Uh huh.

He's gonna be so mad when he listens to this. We're kidding, by the way. Wink wink. No, I'm just kidding.

Okay. That's cool. That's fine. Yeah.

Let's get up and I like it. I like it. If you haven't noticed by now, we obviously don't have a topic for this episode to for today's episode. We're just kind of shooting the shit.

Yeah. Rifting. That's why I said I'm getting. So I season three is called the Rift because every episode from now on, no topic.

No topic. Top of our heads just rapid fire. I can't do that. No.

I mean, I think I could, but then like just topics? No, I'm like just shooting the shit. Every episode. I don't know if I could be able to do that.

Yeah. No. I agree. I think it's different.

I think it's different now the way we should like talk. Yeah. Even if we're not, even if we don't have a topic. Like I was like, wait, oh, sorry.

Wait. No, I was just gonna say like from like a recording standpoint, you know, we are just talking. Like that's still conscious and or that's still prevalent in the way we speak. Whereas if we're not recording, it's totally different.

Yeah. Plus there's a lot of shit that you want to talk about. Just not on air. Yeah.

But at the same time, I can't, which is us because it would be really juicy to talk about. But I can't talk about it. Fuck it. No, I can't.
