After battling inner demons, he is left with the toughest opponent to overcome - himself; Whilst breaking up a sinister cult, Moon Knight soon discovers that Shesmu has plans to make Marc it's own avatar. Moon Knight foils Shesmu by showing he is a being of self destruction, and ultimately deters the deity; Moon Knight is called upon and stalked by Bastet who plans to dispose of Marc and Khonshu. The Avater of Vengeance is not so easily defeated and he shows his purpose to the would be usurper.
