This is SPARTA!!!The directorial debut of Robert Eggers and the breakout film for Anya Taylor Joy. Eggers, who grew up in New England, spent alot of time around the Plimouth Plantation both on field trips and while writing the film. It tells the story of a Puritan Family in the 1630s, who are banished from Plimouth, and left to fend for themselves in the woods.
