Episode 301 - Austen Reno talks Kid Rock Slurs, Crowd Control, and Rob Zombie Munsters Movie

from Mind Gap

On this episode the lads welcome back the venerable Austen Reno to celebrate the release of his new music video and his album Drivin' 25 (premiering June 11th)! Austen is very much a friend of the podcast and the episode gets started with him describing a bit of the genesis of his single "No Hesitation" and talking about his influences. The guys go on to talk about Kid Rock and his recent exploits in Tennessee bars throwing out homosexual slurs at the crowd, the worst things that crowds have done at shows, how Austen has ruined more of his owh concerts than any poorly behaved crowd, how comedians handle hecklers, and Rob Zombie directing a film reboot of The Munsters. This week's Throw-Down pits the episode's two musical protagonists, Rob Zombie and Kid Rock, against each other. One of these contestants is experienced in the realm of horror and gore and the other is a owner of a honky tonk bar that lost its ability to sell alcohol. Who will emerge victorious?
