Episode 306 - Duhon Pt. 2

For the first time since the summer of 2023 I welcomed back Menifee, California native and artist Duhon to the show for episode 306! Having kept an eye on his recent works I was excited to catch up with him and talk more about the direction he’s taken his music and overall brand as an artist over the past couple of years. He told me about the process behind filming distinct visuals for each single he’s released since early 2025 and the ways that they have helped to elevate the traction he’s been seeing. I really enjoyed hearing the level of careful thought and detail he’s putting into each decision from film techniques, concept creation and the overall execution of his ideas from start to finish. He also touched on how he’s been able to get comfortable enough in front of and behind the camera to make things fun and more carefree for himself, thus allowing for a much smoother end result. Duhon didn’t leave without previewing what’s next on the music side including a new collaboration project, more solo singles, and an experimental house project all set to be unleashed very soon.
