Welcome long time guest Jay of the Dead to the podcast. First up, the 2019 A24 Ari Aster film Midsommar. This trip to Sweden has been critically acclaimed by not only critics but horror movie fans as “changing the game,” and “taking us to a place where we’ve never been.” For our older cult film, we will be looking at 1982’s John Russo directed Midnight. A rare movie in the mold of Night of the Living Dead and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. That low budget grit is perfect for this film.
