Episode 31: Exotic Pets
from Deathropology Hosted by Misha Mikami and Jeffrey Cronin
Originally aired on Radio DePaul on 05/17/2022. In this episode, Misha and Jeffrey discuss the dangerous world and "hobby" of exotic pets that has been glamorized through avenues such as PetTube and social platforms. The host discusses why exotic pets are not for everybody and for specialized caretakers and the general legality, health issues, and ethics issues that surround the practice. Note: At Deathroplogy we are not shaming for owning an exotic animal or wanting one we are just advocating for hard research before getting any animal and not insta-purchasing any animal.
