Episode 31 :: How Actions for the Common Good Equal Spiritual Practice

This podcast features some of our thoughts about learning to live in the Presence of the sacred. JEM followers have urged us to talk about how we link the Common Good practices that we talk about on this show to our spirituality; to do it explicitly, not just vaguely. So in this episode we give it a go. Here's one broad, underlying assumption. Whenever we can fit our lifestyle choices to fit within the resources of our one planet home, we show a reverence for Creation. We are connecting with the Spirit of the creational order instead of the spirit of the times. Practices that take us to such One Earth living are also practices for the common good. And when we follow practices for the common good, we have entered into the Spirit as well as the Order of our planetary home. In such living, we are engaged in spiritual practice whether we are aware of it or not, whether we call it that or not. Episode 31 also includes ...
