Coach Hurlbut is one of the only special teams coordinators in the nation who kicked and punted in college (Edward Waters College and Campbellsville University). After college, Hurlbut served for 8 years in the United States Air Force before returning back to the Jacksonville, FL area in 2016. He’s coached high school football in KY, NC, and FL, and played 4 years of semi-pro football for the Panama City Beach Patriots, River City Commandos and the Florida Falcons.
