Sometimes I get so caught up in trying to develop my own fast style that I forget why I fell in love with the banjo in the first place. . Shady Grove is one of my all time favorite songs and I love Clarence Ashley's version. I may not sound like Clarence Ashley, but I certainly try and in my effort a new sound is born that I have grown to accept.
