Dr. Shaina Holman received her BS from Duke in biological anthropology, DDS/PhD from U of Maryland, PhD in Biomedical Sciences where she studied the physiology of infant suckling. She spent her 1 year residency at the VA in Perry Point, MD, and moved back to Chapel Hill, signed the lease on her own practice 1 year later and opened 5 months after that. Her practice has been open for 3.5 years, and now has 17 employees, a full-time associate- 8 op practice, general dentistry.
