As someone who spent half of my life believing that a number on the scale or a certain clothing size would bring the happiness and confidence I could never find, I can tell you with complete certainty that is not how it works. Wanting to make a change in your body needs to come from within-from not feeling comfortable, not feeling confident, not feeling like YOU. But its often really hard to draw the line between saying oh being a size 8 will make me confident and finding confidence because you feel great in your own skin from the inside out. I believe you can want to change something about your body but also love and appreciate your body at the same time. But we need to put that into practice every day.
