LAFC takes out their rivals from Carson, 2-1, behind a standout performance from Sergi Palencia and another historic goal from Kei Kamara. The first half was all LAFC, as the Black and Gold went into the locker room with a 2-0 lead. A picture perfect corner from Mateusz Bogusz to Kei Kamara gave LAFC the lead. Just a minute or so later, Eduard Atuesta earns a penalty, and Denis Bouanga puts it away for a two goal advantage!In the second half, LAFC would absorb Carson's best, as Gabriel Pec and company stormed to the front of the net for an early second half goal. Crises were averted after that, as both Joseph Paintsil and Riqui Puig saw their efforts go for naught.
