Episode 311 - WALL-E *Listener's Choice*

from In The Queue - Film Conversations with Andrew and Phil · host Andrew and Phil

Everyone who saw WALL-E when it came out in theaters in 2008 was awed by the incredible visual storytelling of the film's first act.  As the story continued, reactions split - some claimed the heavy-handed message about humanity was artless.  While Andrew felt the film should have convinced the audience to care about the human characters as much as the robots, Phil and new guest, Brian both are amused by the satire.  What all three parties agree on is that WALL-E still stands as one of Pixar's best films.
