Fresh off a triumphant gig in Minneapolis, the band hit a setback in Waukee, Iowa, as Jarvis endured painful complications from his vocal surgery. The show went forward through sheer force of will, with a savvy adjustment to the setlist ("War Pigs") to cushion the blow. After two fortuitous days off, Night Demon returned to full force to play a blinder of a gig in Denver in front of a house full of friends and ardent supporters.
