LAFC cuts off the broccoli at the stalk, taking out Austin 2-0 en route to a Round of 16 date with the Smurfs!Denis Bouanga caught Austin's back line napping with his 11th-minute goal off a superb long ball from Hugo Lloris, his first assist since 2010. After a couple of great saves by Lloris, second-half sub Kike Olivera put it in the refrigerator with a deflected strike that bounded up and over Stuver for the nail in the coffin.  Hugo would record a clean sheet, Murillo would forget he wasn't a forward, and all 12,000 were whipped into a frenzy as Olivier Giroud was shown on the Jumbotron at BMO.
