Episode 32 - Cat Osterman
from Outside The Chute Hosted by outsidethechute
Outside The Chute sat down and chatted with Texas Longhorn Alum, current US National Team member, and one of the best pitchers to ever play the game, Cat Osterman. Cat’s list of accomplishments are endless as she has the NCAA record for strikeouts per 7 innings over her career with 14.34, 2nd all-time in strikeouts with 2,265, four Big 12 Pitcher of the Year awards, Olympic Gold in 2004, as well as the first ever Athletes Unlimited Champion, just to name a few. We’re gonna talk to Cat about getting her start in the game in her home state of Texas, her storied career with the Texas Longhorns, winning Olympic gold in 2004, the awesome new Athletes Unlimited League from this past summer and much more. Cat was incredible to chat with, I’ve been following her career and watching her since 2006, so the fact that she took time out of her hectic schedule to chat with us on here means the world to me and I wish her all the best, not only in the game but in life following as well.
