With the release of this podcast episode, it will be my birthday week and to celebrate, my interview guest is Britain’s greatest compere and ‘my comedy brother’ James Gill. Gill is the co-founder and resident compere at Always Be Comedy club.  Having celebrated its tenth birthday in June 2021, I have been attending the club weekly for the last six years both live and online.  Together with Tech guru Tim Lewis, it is testament to Gill that he has created an incredible evening, featuring amazingly talented comic acts, as he tirelessly works week in week out to entertain an audience.
