Ireland has four provinces, but the word for “Province” in Ireland means “a fifth”. This is one of the stories of that lost fifth province, a place where the High Kings ruled, and of how and why it was organised the way that it was. We recorded this podcast while Ireland was gearing up for another election, and we (like everybody else) were thinking about the way we think the place should be run. This is not a political podcast, because some things are timeless. This is a look at another way of doing things, that might never have existed, but that we dream of still.
