It Takes Power! It takes power to follows God’s ways It take power to love God’s teachings It take power to thrill to God’s Word It take power to think about God’s Word day and night It take power to habitually meditate on God’s Word It takes power to be quiet It takes power to say ‘no’ to It takes power to reject the advice of evil people It take power to arise and shine It take power to stand up and shine brightly in the darkness of this world I’ve got good news for you- God has given unto is the promise of His Power- Holy Spirit Jesus mentioned this in John 14:16-17 when He was about to die for humanity.. He said the following to His troubled disciples. ”And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever— the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive [and take to its heart] because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He (the Holy Spirit) remains with you continually and will be in you.“ ‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭16‬-‭17‬ And after his death and resurrection by the power of the Holy Spirit, showing himself to his disciples and speaking to them about the kingdom of God. He said “The Father has made you a promise which I told you about before. Wait here to receive this promise. But the Holy Spirit will come to you. Then you will receive power. You will be my witnesses—in Jerusalem, in all of Judea, in Samaria, and in every part of the world.”“ ‭‭ Vs 8 again- But the Holy Spirit will come to you. Then you will receive power. You will be my witnesses—in Jerusalem, in all of Judea, in Samaria, and in every part of the world.”“ ‭‭The Acts‬ ‭1‬:‭8‬ ‭ICB‬‬ It is the Holy Spirit that gives power because He is the power of God. It is important to know that the Power of God is given to us to accomplish God’s will and plan, not my plan So, how do I access the Power of God Simple accept the gift of God - Jesus. Of course it takes FAITH in God’s Word to ”For everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the world—our [continuing, persistent] faith [in Jesus the Son of God].“ ‭‭1 John‬ ‭5‬:‭4‬ ‭AMP‬‬
