Episode 327: Matt Harris (The Big Laird Band) [Rock]

Episode 328 features my longtime friend and bandmate Matt Harris, aka the Big Laird. We wanted to do a little recap episode of this weekend’s Part-Time Rockstar Fest — the 5th annual — at Fish Head Cantina. We talked about how it went, what went well, what we could improve on, and stuff like that. And talk a little bit about the bands that played. It was definitely a fun year, and I really appreciate everyone who came out/helped out. A good time was had by all I do believe. For the regular listeners, I should mention that I play in the Big Laird Band as well as The Hollow Truths. The Laird Band normally does cover shows, but we’ve been writing more originals lately, so we touched on that a bit in the conversation. This weekend, July 5th, the Big Laird Band will be on the road, heading down to Charlottesville, VA — or more specifically, Crozet, VA — to play at PRN Brewing, which is a great live music venue and brewery down there. The Big Laird Band will also be releasing new music soon, as soon as we can figure out how to pay for it.
