It’s the first feature length film to feature Santa Claus as a killer. That might seem somewhat mundane to today’s horror audience, but back in 1980, that was a big deal. The fact that it was an independent horror film with a limited release and virtually no advertising saved it from the kind of protests Silent Night, Deadly Night would receive a few years later. Some very horny girls are spending the holidays at their finishing school, but a very creepy Santa Claus is going to see to it that many of them don’t make it to the actual holiday. An early slasher, To All A Good Night, hits all the slasher tropes and even adds a bit of a twist.
