My guest today is Pastor Al Descheneau, who shares the story of his upbringing in a transient Christian home. As always the new kid in school, he was subjected to frequent bullying and abusive treatment from his school mates. By the time he went to Christian college, he was an angry, antisocial kid who wanted nothing to do with people. Then one day, he had lifechanging break through in his spiritual life which spilled over very quickly into a vibrant social life. Pastor Al talks candidly about his conversations with God, serving the Lord and his calling into pastoral ministry. We have some fun talking about Christian culture, how media choices affects your mood, and cut through the churchy fluff false doctrine. After a time of teenage rebellion God led me to North American Bible College (Now Taylor College &amp; Seminary) in Edmonton to “figure things out”. There, I rededicated my life to Jesus, met my wife, Anita, and was called him into full-time ministry. Since then I’ve been serving Jesus’ in all areas of church life — tech, sound, graphic design, photography, video editing,
