Our very own Bob Reeves is the special guest on this episode of The Other Side of the Bell. Bob talks about his early years playing trumpet and studying with John Clyman in L.A.. At the urging of Clyman, Bob apprenticed with custom mouthpiece maker Carroll Purviance and then in the famed E. Benge trumpet factory in Burbank, CA. In 1968, Bob Reeves set out on his own forming Bob Reeves Brass and has since become world-renowned for his consultations, valve alignments, and handcrafted custom mouthpieces.
