Episode 33 - Darkman (1990)
from Kicking & Streaming Podcast Hosted by Kicking & Streaming Podcast
Johnny and Kevin are back watching the early 90s campy superhero flick Darkman. I’d like a pink elephant for my girlfriend please! The two laugh at cars bursting out of shipping containers, Liam Neeson’s cardigan choice, the interior design of the evil developer’s office, nobody attending Darkman’s funeral, Darkman having to buy a new Nikon camera, dated green screen footage, the accuracy of spraying bullets from the hip, and the main character being named “Peyton”. They also react to the infamous Carnival Pink Elephant scene at 1:05:00. Did Darkman ever develop any real superpowers? Find out by joining Johnny and Kevin in watching Sam Raimi’s original superhero movie Darkman.
