Step into Renee’s hair salon where she has been making women look good and more importantly feel good about themselves for over three decades. “If these walls could talk...” she says, as she raises an eyebrow. She has seen it all: joy, grief, heartache, and beautiful celebration...  True that women love talking but something about Renee and the space she has created around her makes them feel safe enough to open up and be vulnerable and real while sitting in her salon chair and getting some ‘hair love’ as Renee calls it.  In her work, She finds meaning and fulfillment and admits that her ‘girl time’ is some of the most precious time in her day. To Renee it is not just a job, it is a passion. It fills her up just as much as it fills the women who are privileged to know her.
