Before his ventures on camera, he was a self-taught musician, playing guitar in rock bands and releasing music. His curious and determined nature eventually led him to the stage and screen, where he booked his first roles on community stages, as well as local student films. Ryan's hard work led him to highly lauded television series such as Chicago Med, commercials for known brands, and award-winning films such as Life Unexpected, Poser, and Clown Shoes.
