Episode 33 - Sealed by God

Welcome to Daily Growth Point, I’m Pastor John Bingham.Have you ever thought about how important a guarantee is? In the ancient times, letters would be sealed with the sender’s personal stamp in the wax seal and sent by courier. When the letter arrived, the unbroken seal was a guarantee of the origin and that the letter had not been altered. The Bible teaches us that God also gives us a seal - a guarantee that what He says is true. 2 Corinthians says that God’s seal is given to every believer at the moment of salvation in the presence of His Holy Spirit. When we are saved, the Spirit of God immediately enters our life, and His abiding presence is God’s guarantee that we belong to Him. It is also a constant reminder that the promises in the Bible are true. Which means, there are greater things ahead for every believer!
