Episode 337 - When you are troubled, call out to the Lord

Peter and John speak boldly before the authority figures of the time. They are ordered not to speak in the name of Jesus and yet, they cannot hold back. They are fulfilling what we read in John 3: “ he testifies to what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony. Whoever does accept his testimony certifies that God is trustworthy. For the one whom God sent speaks the words of God.” God fights our battles when we let Him live in us. Psalm 34 tells us “The LORD confronts the evildoers, to destroy remembrance of them from the earth. When the just cry out, the LORD hears them, and from all their distress he rescues them.”
