Episode 34: Choosing Hope over Fear - with Katelynn Thibert

YOU WILL ALWAYS MAKE IT THROUGH YOUR DARKEST DAYS Katelynn Thibert is a 34-year-old mother of two boys; Dekson is 6 ½ and Duke is almost 5. She has been married to her husband Jeff for 8 years and their family lives in Belle River.  Katelynn completed her Honours Bachelor of Social Work degree with a Minor in Psychology as well as her Masters of Social Worker degree in 2010 and 2011, both at the University of Windsor. After graduating, Katelynn entered the helping field as a Probation and Parole Officer for the Ministry of the Solicitor General, where she has been working passionately with individuals in conflict with the law for the past 12 years.  In her spare time, Katelynn loves to read and is in a book club with some friends and family. She also loves fitness and works out at Windsor CrossFit, owned by her sister.  Katelynn has always had a knack for advocacy, and her family’s experience with epilepsy lead her to become the President of the Board of Directors for Epilepsy Southwestern Ontario.
