Episode 34 - Discussing Matt Reeves’ The Batman with Special Guest Rick Shew of Batman on Film

On the 34th episode of The Fanboy Garage, we welcome special guest Rick Shew of Batman on Film to unpack all of the news, rumors and speculation surrounding Matt Reeves’ The Batman. We immediately kick things off discussing the set release date ofJune 25th 2021 for the film as well as the announcement that Ben Affleck is no longer attached to play the titular character of Batman. From there, we discuss potential stories Reeves could take the character as well explore the villains we’d like to see going head to head with the Dark Knight himself. As the fight for the cowl begins, we speculate on some of the actors rumored to be up for the role of Batman before discussing who we’d like to see play the villain. To close, we briefly share our thoughts on the latest rumblings that Henry Cavill may still be involved with the character of Superman after another cryptic post goes live on his Instagram feed.
