Winter is here... hope everyone survived the wet  week! In this episode: •⁠  ⁠Dan reaches peak week but his Sunday long run doesn’t quite go to plan.  •⁠  ⁠Matt chases elevation this week, spending less time on his beloved treadmill and hitting 3 sessions in a week for the first time •⁠  ⁠Sinéad spends more time cross training than running this week. Results: Launceston 10km & Half Marathon. A large WA contingent made their way across to Launceston this year, all of whom came away with a PB. Out best placed WA athletes were Dean Menzies who finished 16th in the 10km in a PB of 30:04 & Sarah Greenwood who finished 6th in the half marathon in a PB of 1:21:22. https://racetecresults.com/results.aspx?CId=20346&RId=92&EId=5&dt=0&PageNo=1 Leonora Golden Gift. Zoe Buckman (4:55.00) & Luke Burrows (4:15.20) take out the Elite Miles at this years Leonora Golden Gift. https://www.athleticswestresults.com.au/LGG2024/ Elleker Running Festival: Matt’s beloved hometown race took place this morning with Joel Gray and Kate Pritchett taking out the Half Marathon in cold (and cow) conditions Vlad Ixel wins the Hochkönig Skyrace speed trail in Austria (approx. 31.2 km, approx. 2580+ vertical metres) Upcoming: WAMC 2024 Perth Kids Marathon; Finishing on the 4th August, run in conjunction with the 2024 Perth Half Marathon & 5km.
