Episode 34 - Margin Call *Listener's Choice*

Cha-ching!  A gold-caliber cast hits the jackpot in this high-dollar film about the cusp of the financial crisis.  Kevin Spacey, Jeremy Irons, Paul Bettany, Simon Baker, Zachary Quinto, Stanley Tucci, Demi Moore, etc all liquidate their roles with tender, invested performances. These actors are truly an embarrassment of riches.  J.C. Chandor's screenplay draws from a wealth of material and becomes a veritable currency of sharp dialogue.  As a low-budget indie film, Chandor did not break the bank and minted a film with a reserve of intelligence in all its fiscal responsibility.  "Margin Call" really makes you take stock in your future, not to mention the future of our economy.  There is probably less than 1% of this film that seems lucrative or insufficient.  It's so money.  So please, dish out some cold hard cash to see "Margin Call".  If you don't like it, demand a refund.
