Episode 34 | Women & Brain Health

from The Everyday Creative · host Evie and Emily Soape

As human beings, we all have an innate understanding of what the brain is and why it’s important. It controls bodily functions of which we are unaware and have little control - like heartbeats, breathing, and digestion. It’s also the command center for our intentional actions - chewing, movement, and speech.   But it’s something deeper than that, right? It’s our essence, our thoughts, feelings, and personality. It’s what generates our creativity.   There is a symbiotic relationship between brain health and creativity. Engaging in creativity improves the health of your brain, and working to improve your brain health sets the stage for creativity. It’s foundational not only for creativity itself but also for creating a life you love.   And for women, brain health is especially important.   Episode highlights: Stats on women’s brain health Brain Anatomy 101 Signs of a healthy brain Three primary contributors to brain health Intro to The BrainWAVES Protocol   The Four Q’s Question: What is most important to you about brain health?   Quest: Download your free Fuel Your Focus guide!   Quality Creativity: Emily’s favorite breakfast   Quote: “As a primer, here are the five pillars of brain health: move, discover, relax, nourish, connect.” Sanjay Gupta   For additional info, check out our show notes page: Episode 34: Women & Brain Health   If you’re ready to optimize your brain for health and creativity, check out our free guide!   Connect with The Everyday Creative Collective Email: [email protected] Follow us on Instagram: @theeverydaycreativecollective Check us out on Pinterest   Have a creative week!   Episode Credits: We are your hosts, Emily and Evie Soape, sisters and friends in the midst of figuring out how to live our best lives.
