Episode 345: In Space, No One Can Hear You Groan

This week the Joes acknowledge the 40th Anniversary of Saturn 3, Their second favorite Sci Fi film with Farrah Fawcett in the cast (Note: there were only two.) Conceived in the mind of visionary Star Wars set designer John Barry, Saturn 3, underwent management changes mid stream resulting in a what the late Roger Ebert described as "awesomely stupid, totally implausible," and "a shameful waste of money." And yet the Joes committed 1 hour and 36 minutes of their lives to it anyway. Go figure. They also check out the trailer/preview of Star Trek: Lower Decks the first Trek Toon since 1974, which humorously goes where the long lived franchise has never gone before.
