He turned 16, got his drivers license, got his hair cut like Tony Hawk, met a group of guys that he is still friends with to this day, learned to play the guitar by listening to The Cure's "Just Like Heaven" a bazillion times, discovered The Beatles White Album, and watched every horror movie that he could!
