Episode 35: "Burn Boston Burn" With Wayne Miller, ATF Retired

from The Firehouse Logbook Podcast

In the early 1980's, Boston became known as the Arson Capital of the World thanks to a group of serial arsonists who set more than 260 fires and were responsible for 200 firefighter injuries. The story of this group of "twisted Robin Hoods" is told in the book, "Burn Boston Burn" written by a member of the Arson Task Force that investigated these crimes and ultimately brought the arson ring to justice. Wayne Miller served 25 years in the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms investigating fires, explosions, and firearms crimes and has become an author telling the story of the Boston arsonists and other crimes he has investigated over the years. Enjoy this episode where I talk to Wayne about his career and this epic story of arson, murder plots, and conspiracies. Check out his website at www.BurnBostonBurn.comComments or suggestions?
