Episode 35 - Electronic RPG's part 1 - What makes it Electronic?

Wikipedia gives a really clinical answer to what makes a Computer, Electronic or Video Game RPG "A role-playing video game (commonly referred to as simply a role-playing game or an RPG as well as a computer role-playing game or a CRPG) is a video game genre where the player controls the actions of a character (and/or several party members) immersed in some well-defined world."  There is so much more to it than being on a computer, console or tablet and I even try to compare ERPG's with TableTop RPGs!  Add in a little history and even some cultural differences and the first of a two part'r is complete!  Next episode goes in to ERPG's by category and there are a lot of categories!!!
