Australia is home to some fantastic punk rock bands with zero fucks given attitudes and one of our favourite upcomers from Brisbane is none other than Flangipanis who join us to co-host Wall of Sound: Up Against the Wall this week. Jodie Lawlor and Josh Murphy pulled in for a beer at the Windsor Bowls Club, just up the road from The Shed, the studio where they recorded their latest album Always The Bridesmaid (Out Friday) prior to it's demolishing. The band, along with podcast host Browny chat about the struggles they've faced starting out in Brisbane and how it used to be trying to put on shows in a city where the live music scene has only just turned itself around in the past couple of years. They also try to explain why they're one of the most hated bands in Queensland and how stage props add character to their shows.
