My name is Sylwia Gryczuk, I am a mum of two beautiful girls, an artist, illustrator and youth justice worker. After completing my master’s degree in Pedagogy I decided to leave my beautiful country Poland and move to evergreen Ireland. My creative journey started here on this island full of fairy stories and history. Here I discover my love for children’s art and illustrations. I believe that every one of us has an inner child hidden within, and sometimes we just need to let it go and let our inner child take over. I love creating with different mediums such as watercolors, acrylics, inks, vintage papers, stamps, and stencils. I enjoy making multilayered backgrounds, but my biggest love of all is painting magical things such as fairies, unicorns, and rainbows. I am very inspired by fairytales and children’s drawings. I am amazed by kids’ creations and their ways of painting freely without overthinking.
